“Embrace the Power of Temperature, Engage with Temperature Technologies”
HVAC&R JAPAN 2012 (The 37th Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigerating Expo) organized by The Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA) will be held at Tokyo Big Sight, an international exhibition hall in Tokyo, for four days from 14(Tue) to 17(Fri) February, 2012.
Over the course of half a century HVAC&R JAPAN has provided the only trade fair for heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating in Japan, and has come to be utilized and developed as a forum for public relations in the HVAC&R industries, corporate technology development initiatives and the introduction of new products.
Over the years, the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry in Japan has attained the highest global level in technical standards, and has contributed to the modernization and upgrading of all industries. In addition, the industry has come to play a major role as a provider of essential technologies in a broad range of areas, all of which contribute to the realization of comfort and convenience in various home and daily-living environments, including freezing and refrigeration for distribution and storage of food products, automobile air-conditioning, and the frontlines of advanced medical treatment.
Furthermore, since the entry into force of the Kyoto Protocol in February 2005, the industry has played an active role in activities to address global environmental issues, including the global-level challenge of preventing global warming. These efforts have included the achievement of significant efficiency improvements in heat pump technology, and the development and promotion of environmentally-friendly, high-efficiency machinery.
In addition, JRAIA has endeavored to make further improvements in design quality pertaining to product safety, enabling consumers to use products with peace of mind. Other efforts have included a drive to achieve easily understandable and appropriate labeling with regard to product capabilities and performance.
Against this backdrop, at HVAC&R JAPAN 2012, the key phrase will be “Embrace the Power of Temperature, Engage with Temperature Technologies.” Naturally, we will be showcasing all the climate control equipment that we handle. What is more, we also plan to use the opportunity provided by HVAC&R JAPAN 2012 to gather under one roof our world-leading advanced technologies, and our newest and most environmentally friendly equipment, systems and solutions, ensuring that the event functions effectively as a platform for all exhibitors to create new business opportunities and present the very-latest information to the world.
We plan to hold many concurrent events, including various lectures and seminars on technology featuring experts from government, academia and industry, as well as presentations by exhibitors that will introduce new product trends.
This biennial Expo is positioned as a valuable business opportunity and we hope that all exhibitors will be able to harness this opportunity to showcase their latest technologies in terms of both hardware and software, and that it will present an excellent forum for business interactions with visitors.
As you can see, HVAC&R JAPAN 2012 is being planned as an Expo that will contribute to the further promotion and development of the JRAIA and all its members. We very much hope that you will take an active part in HVAC&R JAPAN 2012 as an exhibitor and that you will grant us the benefit of your full support.
